Change Quantity Surveyor

If you're looking for your next career move, read on.I'm looking for a Change Quantity Surveyor to work with a market leading contractor, assisting in the delivery of a £38m highways construction. Based out of the onsite office in Kings Langley, this freelance position will continue for 9 months, managing all change in regards to the project.Location: Kings LangleyContract length: 9 monthsDay rate: £350 - £425 (dependant on exp.)Roles and responsibilities:* Be responsible for initiating and leading tasks/processes
* Be responsible for planning and managing own work, and that of other commercial team members
* Ensure that the contractor's commercial position is protected using in-depth understanding of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes
* Liaise with the client, PQS and Senior staff
* You are expected to manage and provide development/support to other commercial team members

* The opportunity to work for a well-known contractorCandidate Requirements:* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
* Experience working with a tier 1 contractor working on highways construction
* Working knowledge of NEC/JCT
