Your new company Fantastic Children's Charity who cater for the most vulnerable Children, Young People, and Families throughout the UK. Your new role This project aims to support families when difficulties arise before they need involvement with statutory services. As Family Support Practitioner you will seek to address issues of concern, achieve sustainable change, promote capability and capacity within families to problem solve difficulties and coordinate person centered, evidence based, early intervention for families with children aged 0-17 years. This is an outreach service working with Families within the Northern Trust and based from an office in Antrim (role currently working from home until expected 2021). This will be a contracted role with funding until June 2021 with the potential possibility of extension. It will be a Mon - Fri 9-5 role working 37 hours per week with some evening flexibility due to the nature of the role paying an hourly rate is £11.83 ph inlcu hols which is a annual salary of £20,300. What you'll need to succeed Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above or equivalent/related health, counselling or social care qualification. OR 5 years' experience working in a multi-disciplinary team providing services to families and children aged 0-18 years. Good working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Previous experience of working with young people aged between 0 - 17 years and their families in a supportive capacity Full UK driving license, access to car and ability to travel within the Northern Trust area Competence in the use of IT packages including MS Windows and Office along with email and internet and good record keeping.
