Job objectives and responsibilities - Working as part of the Service Solutions and the wider One Team at PwC Belfast - Reporting to the team Supervisor and Account Manager - This is a client facing role which will see the job holder responsible for providing a high level of Customer Service. The post holder will be responsible for completing duties at the Service Solutions Service Desk as well as maintaining client service areas. This role will also include logging in-coming courier items, ordering and replenishing stationery stock for the office, inbox/job management as well as providing administrations support to the wider Service Solutions team. ROLE: Front End Web Developer for an IoT project LOCATION: Belfast RATE: £350 - £450 per day CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months initially FLEXIBILITY OF WORKING: Some flexible working can be offered START DATE: asap THE ROLE: You will be tasked with developing a web UI for the clients brand new IoT product. This is an opportunity for a Senior Front End Web Developer to work on a greenfield project for a global organisation, where you have the chance to develop the UI from scratch (there is no current UI in place). The IoT product (a wireless information system) which has only just been built, now requires a Web UI to be developed so that the data collected from the wireless system can then be presented to the end users using the UI application. The UI will present real time information (which is collected from the sensors) and then stored in the cloud/ database (experience with SQL / NoSQL is desirable). Aside from have excellent UI experience, you should be someone who can take ownership of a Web UI development and can be relied upon to be run with the task and meet project deliverables. You will be working in a multi-disciplined team (with Hardware Engineers, Embedded Software Engineers and a Mobile App Developer) with you being the sole Front End Web developer. This is a meaty and exciting piece of project work, and for the right individual it will be great fun as you will be given total ownership of the task and can take responsibility for all technical decisions on how to do the UI development. SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Excellent Front End / Web UI development experience 2. JavaScript 3. HTML and CSS 4. Angular or React experience 5.
