Customer Services Assistant – Billing Antrim
Cpl Jobs are currently supporting our client in the Antrim, a successful and growing company looking for a number of Customer Services Assistants in various departments.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Customer Billing Manager, the post holder will proactively support the Billing Department, specifically within the Meter Reading Team. This office-based role will ensure customers’ meters are read in a timely manner and information processed to a high degree of accuracy. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring industry-leading levels of customer service are upheld.
Coordinate and prepare meter reading schedules for Meter Reading Contractor
Process meter readings accurately on the billing system and in line with KPIs
Contact customers to investigate read anomalies
Ensure data integrity is upheld within the billing system, following up on and resolving incorrect customer information
Identify and follow up on meter errors, damages and revenue protection issues
Contact customers to book meter inspection appointments
Collating and updating meter access information
Demonstrating first class customer care delivered in line with company brand values, answering queries from customers and meter readers
Assist with timely resolution of complaints
Process customer refunds, site works requests and sundry invoices
Provide technical support for Customer Services & Sales departments
Experience & Qualifications Required
The post holder will demonstrate first class communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain good relationships across all departments. They will have excellent IT skills, and have a previous proven experience in a customer facing role within a financial environment.
Minimum 5 passes at GCSE level Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English & Maths
Previous experience in customer facing role in a financial environment
Excellent IT skills with experience in manipulating data on Excel
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop relationships across departments
Ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise workload
We are currently looking for 2 Customer Service Assistants within the Billing department for a contract of 12 months+ with review
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8.15am – 5.00 Monday – Thursday and 4.35 finish on a Friday.
Salary is £16,500 pa + Performance Related Bonus.
