I am urgently recruiting for a D365 F & O/Dynamics AX Finance Consultant to work in MELBOURNE.

Detailed JD:

  • Must have experience in D365 FO implementation as a Finance Consultant
  • Should have worked on Microsoft dynamics (AX) 2012/D365 FO projects
  • Strong domain knowledge in GL, AP, AR processes and T&L functionalities.
  • Should be able to articulate well, assess target audience needs and communicate properly
  • Analysing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality
  • Able to perform Impact analysis, create design specs as per high level design, create Unit test plan & experience in training.
  • Design and document the solution and requirements
  • Excellent Analytical and Communication skills

Desktop Support Engineer - Ideally with Trade Floor support (Bloomberg/Turrets) EXP

Sydney, Australia (the applicant should already be based in Australia) - $450 per day - 6 month rolling contract (should be a long-term engagement)

A global financial services organisation seek an experienced Desktop Support Engineer, who is motivated, energetic and looking for a challenging environment. The applicant should have excellent communication, personality and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Desktop Support in a financial services environment, ideally with experience of banking, trade floor or investment banking support - someone who knows how to deal with traders, trading floor infra (Bloomberg, turrets, etc) and VIP users plus Back End sense would be ideal. The Applicant should be experienced in managing and resolving a broad array of Desktop issues. Please note this role must as a minimum have experience of VDI and some server support.

The ideal Desktop Support Engineer, should be educated to degree level or have the equivalent technical experience and be able to:

  • Work as part of a team yet should be independent enough to troubleshoot technical problems on their own.
  • Manage problem resolution to a satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation procedures.
  • The ability to coordinate and execute any moves, adds and changes within the branch office

Job responsibilities for the Desktop Support Engineer, include:

  • Daily support of a very active, fast-paced, high volume, diverse trading environment.
  • Responsible for day-to-day implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure, including all hardware, software, telephone, and turrets.
  • Deploy/Support all Desktop Hardware.
  • Deploy/Support all Telecom Hardware.
  • Deploy/Support all Firm Blackberry's.
  • Documentation of all systems including existing and new applications, scheduled maintenance, and incoming direct wires/demark information.
  • Responsible for assisting on projects for other groups, such as Facilities, Network, Telecom.
  • Inventory control - RMAs, service calls. New equipment requests.
  • Frontline Support for all Desktop Software.
  • Coordinate & Manage Vendor Support.
  • Submit Application Packaging Requests and certify for production.
  • Support all Application Deployments.
  • Rack & Stack Data Center Equipment.
  • Active Directory Services Support.
  • Print Server (Management & Support).
  • Networking (Patching, Testing & Support).
  • Maintain Server/NAS File Security.

Experience & Skills required for the Desktop Support Engineer, position (not all are essential):

  • Technologies and hardware that we use include: Windows 7/10, MAC OS, Bloomberg, Fidessa, IPC turrets, HP desktops, Blackberry's, iPhones/iPads, Printers, Cisco VOIP phones, Lotus Notes, MS Office 2010/2013/2016, 365.
  • In depth knowledge of Windows 7 & Windows 10.
  • Scripting Knowledge (a plus but not a requirement).
  • Knowledge of IPC trading turrets.
  • Knowledge of all desktop hardware such as HP PC's, printers, Blackberry's etc.
  • Excellent communication, personality and presentation skills.
  • Candidates must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent decision-making and organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
