Complete administration of picking documents as required Ensure products that are picked are of saleable quality in accordance to the company policy - particularly H&S and quality Ensure the correct labelling of all orders ready for dispatch To replenish the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring that stock is always available for picking Ensure that all vehicles are loaded correctly and on time in line with the company load planner Ensure that all cages/ stillage's are secure in accordance with H&S regulations Compliance with H&S and Hygiene legislation Ensure all goods accepted are to the standard required by the Company, including temperature compliance Locate products as set out by the WMS, rotating stock effectively Skills & Qualifications: • Picking rate/ Put-away rate/ Replenishment rate • Productivity Accuracy Time keeping • Attendance Disciplinary record • Competencies/Leadership • Verbally communicates in a polite and clear fashion, relays messages to team • Uses knowledge to solve basic problems, makes routine decisions • Takes responsibility for quality of own work • Meets customer expectations in service and product quality • Is reliable and co-operative, demonstrating understanding of team work/interdependency • Demonstrates attention to detail • Has a sense of urgency • Health & Safety conscious at all times The Business Brakes UK uses a third party to undertake a number of checks. The project itself is a flagship residential scheme that is estimated at around £100 million, and will involve the construction and mechanical and electrical fit-out of high-end apartment blocks. The clients are looking for an experienced planner to see the project through the design stage to completion. The ideal candidate needs to be someone that can offer their expertise not only in the office environment, but on site also. Requirements: * Experience of being the lead planner on large scale £100m+ residential construction project. * Experience of pre and post tender planning, and seeing construction plans through from inception to project completion. * Asta Powerproject expertise. * M&E fit out knowledge is essential. * 5 Years planning experience. * Residential background only. * Career experience working on site as an engineer or manager. Our client are looking to recruit a CAD Technician, to work in the Highways Design team, based in Bristol so 3 months on-going contract. The ideal candidate will be experienced when it comes to producing technical CAD drawings for various professional disciplines, carrying out surveys, communicating with people on all levels and creating 2D drawings as well as 3D models. Engineering Technician(s), used to working in a pressurised urban local authority project delivery environment and familiar with the day to day use of the Design Manual for Road and Bridge Works, Manual for Streets, and all the regulatory and guidance documents/manuals/regulations associated with developing practical and achievable designs within the constraints of the urban public realm. The roles duties would include; • The candidate must have good communication skills and be confident at listening and developing the initial client’s brief and Engineer’s instructions. • They must be fully computer-literate, highly skilled and currently experienced in the use of AutoCAD 2016 (Civil 3D/Map3D and associated software for the preparation of highway design drawings including specifically KeyLines, Key Signs and ‘Autotra • Prepare / update CAD drawings, either from survey information or direction by others- based on briefs • Monitor the time, cost and quality of work undertaken. • Keep up to date with the use of CAD and relevant software by participating in training opportunities and assimilating information from technical and professional journals. • Be aware of changes in relevant information technology. To undertake engineering investigations, design changes and associated project management of engineering projects in the maintenance of the design intent and availability of In-Service Submarine Flotilla, in particular: • Submarine Ship’s Systems; and • Submarine Propulsion Systems. To act, in conjunction with the other members of the Mechanical Team, as the focal point for support, by the client, to the Platform Group within the Submarine Operating Centre. This focal point is specifically centered around the identification of issues, risks and the associated potential design solutions for In-Service Submarines. Principal Tasks and Responsibilities To act as Task Owner for the specification, planning, execution and delivery of specific submarine design support / design change tasks, as allocated by the Team Leader – Mechanical, to the required standard(s), time scales and budgets. In terms of the above requirement tasks include, but are not limited to: • Conducting investigations and / or design studies as required by the Submarine Enterprise with a specific focus on submarine secondary propulsion systems and shipside service systems; • Developing and or maturing technical solutions and associated specifications and technical reports in order that the required design changes can be proposed and progressed; • Conducting design and safety reviews in order to identify the technical and safety risks; • Conducting on board inspections and assessments (operational and in maintenance); • Project managing sub-contractors in the execution of specific tasks that require specialist or OEM support; and • Producing reports and recommendations that detail the proposed solution and or way ahead which will give consideration to priority, programme and budget. To directly liaise with the customer and other MOD project officers, as authorised, to identify the technical issues, discuss potential solutions, review recommendations, conclusions, provide general advice and report progress. To manage sub-contractors in the conduct and progress of their contracts and provide technical acceptance of their deliverables on behalf of the client. To liaise with other departments to ensure that cross-Platform integration issues and Safety aspects of any design support / design change tasks are addressed. To provide technical support on electrical design aspects to other Engineering Services projects and the wider Submarine Enterprise Teams as directed by the Manager – Mechanical. To apply and work to objectives and targets as set by the Team Leader - Mechanical. To notify the Team Leader – Mechanical of any issue with the potential to affect contractual and commercial. Qualifications and Experience Requirements Academic: Minimum of a Level 4 BTEC in a relevant STEM based discipline or a comparable academic standard (NVQ Level 4 / Foundation Degree etc). It is desirable that the post holder holds a Master’s Degree in a relevant STEM based discipline. The post holder should hold or be working towards at least Incorporated Engineer status via an appropriate institution, whilst preferably working towards Chartered Engineer status. Personnel with relevant experience may be considered suitable subject to them having a clear route to Professional Membership with an appropriate approved institution. Nuclear: Nuclear operator experience (RN or Industry) is desirable but not essential. Experience Experience and knowledge in the delivery of In-service Submarine Support (including structure, stakeholders, operations, working practices etc.). The post holder shall be capable of working professionally and objectively at a senior level, leading a project across multiple stakeholders and providing a clear project management focus. The post holder shall have notable experience of project management and working in a team. The poster holder shall have completed the APM Project Fundamentals (APM Introductory Certificate) Qualification (or equivalent), or done so within 12 months. The poster holder shall have completed the Ship Safety Management Training Course (SSMO) or done so within 12 months. Be proficient in the use of appropriate Project Management & IT tools (especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio).
