PMP Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well established manufacturing company in the Blackwood area on a temporary 12 month contract. As a successful HR Officer you will provide high quality HR support, advice and guidance to Managers and employees across the business, in-line with the companies values, policies and procedures. You will also provide support for all HR initiatives as directed by company needs. Duties will include: HR Administration Administer starter / leaver processes including all documentation, induction processes and exit interviews Maintain accurate employee records, including electronic and hard copy record systems, and ensure records comply with Data Protection Act. Recruitment, selection and induction Assist department heads with their recruitment process including advertising, shortlisting and arranging interviews Ensure necessary recruitment authorisation paperwork is completed relating to recruitment of employees (temporary and permanent) Liaise with external provider to arrange candidate assessment test as appropriate as required To produce and issue all employment offer packs To undertake all required pre-employment checks, updating and discussing with line manager as appropriate To ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to Payroll Respond to recruitment agencies and individuals seeking employment and for reference requestsTraining Arrange training courses with relevant personnel including inviting attendees, ensuring room setup is complete and obtaining feedback from participants Provide HR induction training to all new starters To provide all training administration including booking venues, liaising with course providers and attendees and maintaining training records Maintain electronic training matrix recordsEmployee Relations Provide HR support, advice and guidance to management and employees Provide line manager briefings as required.
