Our dedicated and established Programmes Team is responsible for delivering a suite of accredited HMPPS Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) programmes which meet the needs of our service users. The programmes cover topics such as domestic abuse, violence and aggression, substance misuse and challenging behaviour. Key Responsibilities * Our Programme Facilitators deliver a range of group work programmes and courses aimed at supporting individuals to change negative behaviours and unhelpful patterns of thinking. * You will participate in the preparation and planning of groups and then provide written reports on service users’ progress. * The role involves working with low, medium and high risk service users. There will be some 1:1 work but most of the work is carried out in a group setting. The role would suit someone who is open to working with a diverse range of people with complex needs. You will be dealing with service users from a variety of backgrounds with differing beliefs, attitudes and behaviours where you will need to explore these differences with a view to achieving positive change. You must also have the ability to maintain an adequate level of discipline and control so that learning can take place within the group. Due to the nature of the role a vast amount of training and support is provided to ensure that all Programme Facilitators are confident and competent to succeed. Through the training programme you will learn about the aspects of Treatment and Programme Delivery including the theory behind the Interventions we deliver. Salary: £22,924 per annum plus unsocial hours pay enhancements – Saturdays premium payment of 50% and evening working premium payment of 30%. For example If the working pattern included four evenings per week the starting salary would be £25,154 per annum.. Hours: This is a full time role, there is an expectation that operational staff work regular weekday evenings (until 10pm) and on Saturdays to support service users without jeopardising their employment.
