NEC Project Manager Carrington West on behalf of their client is recruiting for a NEC Project Manager. The NEC Project Manager will be based in Caerphilly. The NEC Project Manager's role to include site supervision, contract administration, the checking of compliance with Specification, the admeasurement of completed works, checking of submitted accounts and making recommendation for payment. 1.Undertake the control, review and monitoring of contract project fee and construction expenditure and financial management of budgets. 2.Identify engineering problems and define possible solutions. 3.Assist in the selection of appropriate techniques, procedures and methods to undertake tasks. 4.Undertake the NEC Project Managers role to include contract supervision, contract administration, the checking of compliance with Specification, appropriate record keeping, the admeasurement of completed works, checking of submitted accounts, making recommendation for payment and to manage the dispute resolution process. 5.Review contract programmes /risk assessments and method statements in relation to construction related projects. 6.Liaise with and use expertise from joint engineering service providers as appropriate. 7.Prepare information for public liaison/consultation exercises on highway and other engineering proposals and attend public exhibitions and meetings as required. 8.Liaise with the Network Operations Manager, the Police and other bodies regarding temporary traffic management arrangements for projects. 9.Undertake all duties in accordance with the Group's Quality Assurance Management Systems. 10.Undertake all duties in accordance with the requirements of the Group's Performance Management Systems and service delivery performance indicators and targets for improvement. 11.Actively promote the operation of systems, procedures and practices to ensure the compliance with the provisions of health and safety legislation and general risk management arrangements. 12.Assist in the implementation of health and safety risk management techniques in the design and supervision of construction related projects. 13.Liaise between various stakeholders, clients and other external organisations to ensure a high standard of service delivery is achieved. 14.Assist in the dealing with third party claims. We are looking to recruit a Project Accountant for our client based in Caerphilly on a 12-month Maternity Cover Contract to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the management accounts of a London based subsidiary. We are expecting this to involve a 2-3 day visit every 4 weeks plus a 1 day visit every other week although this may evolve over time. The candidate therefore must be willing to travel. The Assistant Engineer- Highways will join a busy Highways team based in Caerphilly.
