Our major client in Holland is looking to take on 7 x Control Valve Techs
The role is likely to start at the end of april and the duration is 8 weeks.
£21.00 all hours worked, all cost paid for.
Description of the activities:
A mark should be made on the valve to clearly indicate the hook-up of the valve positioner, relative to the flow direction. Additionally, the positioner is checked.
If a control valve is offered, it should firstly, if the client wants this, be checked on a test bench, for running properties, visible disk tap valve leakage, a visibly poor condition and leak-rate; the values found must be stated on the inspection report.
The valves can be supplied including, for instance, a reducing, limit switches and/or valve positioner or by other instruments. Accessories that are not included in the standard revision, should be revised against supplemental work.
Entirely disassemble the control valve and clean it. When opening the valve, the release of any concealed product residue should be anticipated.
After opening, the valve must be visually inspected and checked for defects. Findings and repair details must be stated on the inspection report.
Blasting shall be limited to those parts that will be painted afterwards.
Non-standard revisions must be reported/approved by/via the client, before commencement of the activities.
Standard revision activities:
* Identification and registration of inspection report
* Photo documentation as part of setting of accessories and actuator
* Marking of lines, positions, etc.
* Pre-testing of valve functioning
* Visual inspection
* Disassembly of complete valve and actuator
* Inspection of components
* Registration of findings
* Cleaning of components
