If you're experienced in design management and design assurance for civil engineering designs in the rail sector, we have a contract that could be for you.
Based in South Wales, this Design Manager role is an initial 6 month contract, for a major rail contractor.
You will be responsible for design assurance, liaising between design team and project team, flag any issues where required and be the point of escalation for design related issues.
Successful candidate will have degree or equivalent in civil engineering or related subject, plus proven experience in design assurance on civil engineering designs on rail projects. Knowledge of rail safety and design standards would be required. Valid PTS would be desirable.
This role has been determined inside IR35.
