Process Piping & Welding Specialist Non Metallic We are looking for a plastic pipe welding experts for our client's semiconductor project in Xian, China. The Assignment will be 3 months initially with good possibility of extension to 6 months based on performance. Applicants will be considered who have significant experience in one or more the following areas/Industries; Semi-Conductor, Pharmaceuticals, Clean Rooms, (UHP) Ultra High Purity Instrumentation Pipework, Construction background in the previous, a Senior Engineer in Welding and Plastic Welding and Inspection. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The job expertise may vary due to the development of the project-scope in order to achieve high quality standards. The main work consists of identifying improvements to the existing system independently and communicating them to the customer. The Aim is to achieve International Code Compliance and International Standard Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management Objective of Construction Project Implementation. Assessment of Process Piping supply systems Non Metallic and Welding (delivery, distribution to point of use). Work Scope is included but not limited to: • Report to the PM • Review and validate metallic pipe compatibility, supports and routing calculations, specifications and design. • Review of different non-metallic pipe materials preparation, bonding and installation procedures and provide improvement suggestions. • Identify suitable pipe fittings to use to prevent unnecessary head loss and damage to the system. • Review and validate NDE procedural instructions, procedures & techniques, personnel & equipment used for testing/inspection. This includes leak check, air and water pressure test. • Review QC plan for welding parts and provide advices • Summarize findings and provide Non Conformance Report and Recommendation. • Discuss NCR and REC for corrective action with Designers and/or General Contractors. • Providing the review opinion for client documentations & Risk assessment • Submit the necessary reports & provide the explanation of performed activities, if necessary. • Participating meeting with Designers and General contractor (subcontractors, if necessary) for the project progression, if necessary • Participating meeting with the plant owner for project discussion, if necessary • Give advice under agreed international standard to ensure the designers fulfill all necessary requirements • Checking the quality of the prepared protocol/checklist • Perform other duties as necessary Witness of: • Necessary tests • Furthermore monitoring of installation work on site and reporting of all substandard installations and installation procedures. Requirements: • Several years of experience in the semiconductor industry working with Plastic Piping Systems. • Good knowledge of SEMI code (plus other relevant standards e.g. FM, NFPA, ... ) • Degree in Engineering, (or equivalent) • Report and communicate in English • Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint)

Our client is looking for 2 Site project managers, one to be located in the Middle East (UAE) and the other to be located in China (Guandong Region) The ideal candidate will have ; Strong intercultural, leadership, management and communication skills. Strong fabrication background in offshore (wind) jackets, foundations and/or topsides. Strong knowledge of welding, offshore coating, steel structures. Strong knowledge of quality and safety standards. Excellent reporting skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word/powerpoint. Good knowledge of Employers responsibility and role regarding an EPCI contract. Proven successes in relevant projects in offshore environments are mandatory.Role Reporting to the UK-based Fabrication Manager, the Site Project Manager will lead the Employers site team and will be the interlink between the Employers project team based in Glasgow and the EPCI-Contractor and Fabrication Subcontractors and their teams on site The Employer site team will exist of a QA Manager, Fabrication QA inspector, Coating Inspector and (local) Expediting/Reporting Engineer(s) and other Specialists/ Inspectors as required. The Site Project Manager to be responsible that the Employers site team shall actively monitor the fabrication scope to be fabricated, inspected, tested, measured and documented in accordance to contract, the program, milestones, the owner's requirements and relevant regulations. A permanent record of all developments, deviations and changes at the site shall be maintained and be reported. The Site Project Manager and the team will participate in audits, progress meetings, inspection meetings and all other relevant meetings and will support the Fabrication Manager and Quality Manager in case of Technical Queries, Expert Advice, Changes, Commercial issues and any other relevant issues and discussions. Special attention will be paid to the HSE-culture and HSE-management and to the major interfaces (flanges, connection between upper and lower jacket and suction caissons, electrical scope)
