If you’re an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in Civil Engineering looking for a new opportunity, this could be the one for you. We’ve got an exciting new position based in the Bristol area overseeing the Earthworks element of a multi-million-pound Highways scheme and it’s ready and waiting for you to jump on board! Working for the main contractor, you’ll get the chance to take the reigns and make your mark on this highly-anticipated scheme and see it through to the end. With work due to last until the end of the year, this is the perfect opportunity to secure yourself a long-term gig on a project which will shine on your CV.
As Site Agent, you’ll join an existing management team to take the lead on one half of this high-value motorway project. Earthworks will be your focus, so if you’ve got demonstrable experience in this working within highways, water, rail or general civils, you could be just what we’re looking for. Responsibilities will revolve around directing labour, plant and equipment on site to ensure the project runs on time, to budget and in line with specifications, as well as having crucial input in site programming and sitting across the design, surveying and procurement teams. With several subcontractors on site, you’ll also be expected to manage works carried out across your half of the project, liaising directly with the senior management team. If this sounds like your bag and you’re ready to take on the challenge, get in touch today to find out more.
What can you bring to the role? We’re looking for a competent, dedicated individual with a strong background in civil engineering projects who can really take control of the day to day running of the project and deal with any challenges that may arise. Whether you come from water, roads, rail or any other civil engineering discipline, as long as you can show off your proven experience working on high-value earthworks schemes with a main contractor, you’ll fit the bill. With the Highways industry booming at the moment, this could be the chance you’ve been waiting for to secure yourself a contract in a lucrative and exciting sector.
