We have a requirement for a number of Quality Engineers (Value Stream) to perform the following primary duties: * Production build support – investigations and queries * Developing inspection criteria development * Developing quality metrics by value stream * Analysing data and implementing process and product improvements * Oversee and train inspection teams * Related customer complaint investigations by value stream * MRB disposition and investigations * Supplier corrective action tracking and analysis * Assisting with preparation and support for FAI and source inspections * Analysing related customer and OEM data and identifying improvements * Assisting with training and awareness including quality alerts and standards * Develop quality plans by value stream and new product * Coordinate PFMEA reviews Required Skills: * Excellent problem solving and decision making * Proficient in the use of quality tools and techniques * The ability to interpret technical drawings * The ability to communicate with customers, authorities and all levels within the company * Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently and earn the trust of stakeholders * Excellent analysis of data and reporting * Willing to work additional hours as necessary, including international travel Must have Minimum 3 year’s experience in a quality engineering position within manufacturing and have experience within aircraft interiors

I am currently seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager for a Large Pharmaceutical company based in Ireland. The Project Engineering Manager will be responsible for delivering a c£50m new API site; this will include Civil, Utilities & Process Equipment and will comply to ATEX / DSEAR / COMAH standards. The ideal candidate will have experience managing CAPEX projects in excess of £10m, have experience in APIs or Fine Chemicals and ideally have a process engineering background. Describe the activity and primary duties being requested: * Interpretation of regulations and implementation of requirements into company processes * Managing internal regulatory manuals and procedures to ensure adherence and improvement * Auditing of internal quality processes and systems, and supplier quality systems * Building and developing strong relationships with authorities, customers and suppliers * Gathering data and analysing and evaluating facts to ensure compliance and improvement * Creating procedures, inspection instructions and cosmetic standards * Analysing internal audit results and recommending and assisting with improvements * Performing and following up on supplier audits * Developing and maintaining customer complaint system e.g. field return internal CAPA type process * Providing training in regulatory requirements, FOD and human factors, etc. * Assisting with FAI/SI related activities as necessary Assisting with value stream related activities as necessary Required Skills: * Working knowledge of EASA Part 21 Subpart G regulatory requirements * Working knowledge of AS9100 rev D standard * Third level qualification in a related engineering discipline * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality engineering position within the aerospace/airline industry including two years’ experience dealing with regulatory bodies such as the CAA * The ability to communicate with customers, authorities and all levels within the company including the communication of regulatory, quality and engineering criteria/issues * Proficient in the use of quality tools and techniques * Ability to be proactive and act in a professional manner to influence all key stakeholders * Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently, and earn the trust of authorities * * Possess strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Willing to work additional hours as necessary, including overseas travel * Desirable Requirements: * Working knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulatory requirements * Experience in aircraft interiors is desirable. * The ability to interpret technical drawings Six sigma certification

Specific products / commodity details: Premium Class Aircraft Seating Describe the activity and primary duties being requested: Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspection and conformance to design of production and maintenance activities. - Inspects parts, assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications. - Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials. - Inspect and check aircraft components for airworthiness and proper installation. - Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements. - Conduct first article inspection of parts, assemblies, equipment and tooling. - Maintain necessary inspection logs and write inspection reports. - Submit recommendations to resolve recurring deficiencies found during inspections. - Interpret inspection findings and determine adequacy of corrective actions. - Provide training as required to address deficiencies identified during audits/inspections. - Identify Continuous improvement opportunities and progress related actions Describe the ideal skills, experience and qualifications to perform this activity: - Possess strong computer skills to include developing documents in Microsoft Word and Excel - Have experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc. - Must be proficient in the understanding of torque and assembly methods/processes. - Must be capable of communicating quality and engineering criteria/issues to all levels of factory employees. - Must be able to read and perform inspections using the assembly instructions and engineering drawings. This will require a good understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. - Have awareness of how to conduct First Article Inspections. - Able to read and interpret drawings, and service bulletins.
