As GIS / Envirnmental Technician you will join a team who are involved in carrying out sewer inspections and identifying defects on sewer networks, reviewing CCTV and making recommendations for sewer adoption. Your role will involve visiting housing development sites, coordinating with Networks and Contractors, attending site meetings, reporting findings, finalising snag and defects lists. As GIS / Environmental Technician (Sewer Networks) based in Craigavon, your responsibilities will include: * Undertake wastewater networks defect inspections and reporting findings * Arranging and reviewing CCTV surveys * Checking and approving ‘As Constructed Drawings’ * Attending Site Meetings * Corresponding with Site Developers, Transport NI and other stakeholders * Making recommendations for sewer adoption Essential Criteria * 3rd level qualification in a reatled subject such as GIS, Environmental Engineering, Site Surveying, Building Surveying or similar HNC/HND as a minimum. * Microsoft office skills, training and assistance will be given. * Full driving licence. We have a requirement for a number of Quality Engineers to perform the following primary duties: * Production build support – investigations and queries * Developing inspection criteria development * Developing quality metrics by value stream * Analysing data and implementing process and product improvements * Oversee and train inspection teams * Related customer complaint investigations by value stream * MRB disposition and investigations * Supplier corrective action tracking and analysis * Assisting with preparation and support for FAI and source inspections * Analysing related customer and OEM data and identifying improvements * Assisting with training and awareness including quality alerts and standards * Develop quality plans by value stream and new product * Coordinate PFMEA reviews Required Skills: * Excellent problem solving and decision making * Proficient in the use of quality tools and techniques * The ability to interpret technical drawings * The ability to communicate with customers, authorities and all levels within the company * Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently and earn the trust of stakeholders * Excellent analysis of data and reporting * Willing to work additional hours as necessary, including international travel Must have Minimum 3 year’s experience in a quality engineering position within manufacturing and have experience within aircraft interiors Rate is competitive

Specific products / commodity details: Premium Class Aircraft Seating Describe the activity and primary duties being requested: Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspection and conformance to design of production and maintenance activities. - Inspects parts, assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications. - Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials. - Inspect and check aircraft components for airworthiness and proper installation. - Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements. - Conduct first article inspection of parts, assemblies, equipment and tooling. - Maintain necessary inspection logs and write inspection reports. - Submit recommendations to resolve recurring deficiencies found during inspections. - Interpret inspection findings and determine adequacy of corrective actions. - Provide training as required to address deficiencies identified during audits/inspections. - Identify Continuous improvement opportunities and progress related actions Describe the ideal skills, experience and qualifications to perform this activity: - Possess strong computer skills to include developing documents in Microsoft Word and Excel - Have experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc. - Must be proficient in the understanding of torque and assembly methods/processes. - Must be capable of communicating quality and engineering criteria/issues to all levels of factory employees. - Must be able to read and perform inspections using the assembly instructions and engineering drawings. This will require a good understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. - Have awareness of how to conduct First Article Inspections. - Able to read and interpret drawings, and service bulletins.
