Maintenance Engineer £17.50 per hour plus premiums Alfreton, Derbyshire We are currently recruting for a multi skilled maintenance engineer to work for an established manufacturing company based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The Maintenance engineer will be involved in all site planned and reactive maintenance on industrial production machinery. Further duties would also be remedial work across the whole site for anything that may need attention and updating of any current office electrical wiring or fixtures and fittings as and when required. The right candidate will meet the following criteria; Apprenticeship trained or City & Guilds qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Maintenance experience with an an Electrical and Mechanical bias. Good knowledge of latest editions of Wiring Regulations up to at least 16th Edition A good trouble-shooter and problem solver Able to communicate well with all operational staffYou would be part of a team of Maintenance Engineers. Duties As a mechanical mate you will be working within live office environments installing, maintaining and refurbishing air conditioning units. Primary duties will include working with an air conditioning engineer to install the associated pipework, brackets and supports to new units, along with stripping down, repairing, re-gasing and cleaning exisiting equipment. About You Based ideally in Derby you will need to live within a short commutable distance of DE72 3QE. Demonstrable experience of working within a construction environment ideally with a part qualification in plumbing.This role would ideally suit someone looking to develop a career in mechanical installations.
