Reporting directly into the MD and managing a growing International 24/7 Service Desk supporting over 100 countries, you’ll be responsible for actively guiding and mentoring team of 15 engineers (1st, 2nd and 3rd Line) which is set to grow to 30 over the course of the year.

Job Description.
• Ensure loading bays and de-kit are serviced in a timely manner with trailers and other vehicles
• Trailers/vehicles are rotated on/off the loading bays efficiently to avoid possible operational delays
• Ensure equipment is parked in the appropriate places, causing minimum obstruction/disruption to pedestrians
• Carry out relevant shunt vehicle checks at the start of each shift and keep the shunt vehicles in a clean and tidy condition at all times
Licence requirements:
• HGV Class 1 licence for at least 3 months
• Up to date CPC for your class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your class 1
• Max 6 penalty points
• No DD or IN10 penalty codes
You Must:
• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift
Salary:
• Night per hour: £13.00 per hour
• Higher rates are paid for weekend work if you are required to do any Class 1 work at weekends
