Job Description We require multiple EPOS engineers for nationwide deployment projects to start in 2018! The role will consist of predominantly installation, swap out and some break-fix of EPoS kit in the field. Travel will be required with overnight stays. Work involves Trunking to RDC's or other similar sites and we have both day and night shifts available. Work involves trailer swaps and some back hauling, so you will need to contactable throughout the shift, good communication skills are essential for this position. Experience working with Side Curtain or Box Trailers would be an advantage but not essential. We also have Weekend work available should you also require this and higher rates are paid. You will need to have a Full Valid UK Drivers Licence, Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Cards and be eligible to work in the UK. In return you will be offered Full Time work (or part time if this is required) within the driving work you require. Senior Project Engineer - Utilities £35p/h - £45 p/h (Ltd) DOE 6 months + Derbyshire My client provides bespoke and turnkey project planning, mechanical and electrical installations, complete engineering design risk assessment and complete engineering project management to a variety of areas in the process industry. Typical projects centre around the design and build of new process plants for the food, beverage, brewery and pharmaceutical sectors. My client has just won a new project in the Hertfordshire area, which involves the upgrade / refurbishment of an existing food facility. Your time will be split between Herts and Derbyshire. You will spend 80% of you time in the Derbyshire office. The role will involve: * Carrying out an in-depth site survey to identify the scope of the project – what is required to get the site functional? What will that involve? * Take this information alongside the client’s spec to make sure you have captured all project requirements * Complete layouts (CAD or sketched) – utilise a draughtsman to complete the finished design * Cradle to grave management of utility engineering projects, taking responsibility for progress from design stages through to install and commissioning * Identify required equipment which needs to be procured for the site, contact suppliers and manage the tender process * Select sub-contractors / suppliers – oversee them and sign off on their work * Complete a final quote and get it signed off by the client The successful candidate must possess the following: * Time served project professional – used to managing projects of over £5M in value * Experience of working in the process industry, preferably involving utilities * Abel to oversee the creation of front end designs, incorporating site survey information, and the clients spec. * Create tenders for required Cap-Ex, and additional requirements – liaise with suppliers and negotiate deals * Able to head up cross-functional teams, and manage sub-contractors * Full lifecycle project management - cradle to grave The company will offer the successful candidate: * £35p/h - £45 p/h (Ltd) * An initial contract of up to 6 months with opportunities for extensions.
