This project may require relocation for a minimum duration of (2) months Expenses covered to relocate from UK Job Description: The quality inspector shall travel to a single supplier to perform dimensional inspections on aircraft seats. Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications. You will be required to report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via web application. Requirements: You must have practical experience performing inspection on aircraft seats. The inspections will be performed to engineering requirements specified per ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) or equivalent standard.You must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and purchase orders, and have experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military / defence manufacturing with proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel. You should be computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment. Must be able to pass background and eye exam screenings as well as complete initial orientation/training with customer representatives onsite

They need someone who has experience of both, but also experienced defining business requirements and able to write the specifications.

This is a 2 year programme, and you will be awarded a 6 month initial contract.
