Nicholas Howard are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a leading global Pharmaceutical company based in Paris, France. This is a contract position for 11 months. Role Description: * Responsible for local tax preparation and submission (Income tax, Customs declaration, Sales tax, VAT, Contribution on value added, Corporate taxes, annual tax returns, etc.) * Supervise tax audits performed by tax authorities * In charge of specific declaration related to pharmaceutical industry * Support for preparation of financial statements * Work with business partners on tax forecast and strategic plan * Identifying and answering complex domestic and international tax issues with global tax team or * advisors/ lawyers. * Providing technical tax advice and develop tax optimization * Support for strategic state tax planning * Prepare and monitor close calendar * Reconciliation of tax accounts closing position at month end * Analyze turnover and proceed with periodic declaration to local organism * Monitored and evaluated impacts of tax law changes and adjusted processes and policies * Regular presentation to team members on tax law changes * Identify key controls, assess controls for design deficiencies, and update processes * Implement new accounting policies and procedures * Manage and lead on special projects and investigations, as needed * Support in preparing annual accounts and prepare details for the auditors * Periodical balance sheet and P&L review with Financial Controller France * Responsible for calculation and follow-up on differed taxes * Administrative tasks for financial department

Our client is a UK Main Contractor with office fit out projects throughout the UK and Europe. They require an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a freelance basis to work on multiple projects in Paris, France. As Construction Manager the candidate will be responsible for the on-site project delivery and client management. The successful candidate MUST be fluent in French that will manage and co-ordinate the site team, end client and all contractors working on site. Responsibilities include: - Ensuring company HS&E and quality standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to at all times. - Setting up site, Fire Plans, Inductions, Method Statement, Risk Assessments e.t.c - Organising the site to deliver programme requirements on a daily basis. - Co-ordinating sub-contractors to ensure efficiency of work. - Monitor the quality of work carried out ensuring high standards of quality are achieved and addressing any issues with sub-contractors / trades. - Ensuring all programmes, plans, method statements and risk assessments are up to date, understood and adhered to by all the necessary people. - Solving design and technical issues on site. - Interacting with the client and architect on a daily basis. Construction Manager Experience Required: - MUST be fluent in French - Recent office fit-out experience is essential. - First Aid, SMSTS & CSCS essential. myfm are pleased to offer a truly rare opportunity for a senior French-speaking Facilities Manager on a prestigious contract based on the periphery of Paris Title : Senior Facilities Manager Location : Boulogne-Billancourt district of Paris Start date : anticipated to be early Oct 19 Duration : 2-3 days per week on site for approximately 6 months Commercials : to be agreed The primary goal of the Senior FM is to effectively manage the infrastructure and hard & soft services at the HQ and satellite offices including technical maintenance and security of the building, post room services, meeting/conference support and reception services, catering and cleaning services, space management, FM related legal compliance, H&S, manage CRS initiatives and drive sustainability both in terms of new and existing infrastructure. The role involves project management of local fit out projects including change management to meet business needs. An integral part of the deliverables is the creation and management of the financial budgets for all FM activities in terms of both capex and opex. Responsibilities extend to offering support, overlooking common objectives and guidance to the country regional site facilities representatives, acting as subject matter expert (SME), which may involve limited travel throughout the country, and occasionally internationally.
