Overview – We are currently searching for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a well-recognised and industry leading food production company who produce confectionary, meat and frozen food products, just to name a few. Our client is currently going through a period of increased production demand and are now looking for support from a skilled contractor. You will be responsible for a number of reactive and preventative maintenance tasks alongside proactively assisting with continues improvements to machinery across the site. Responsibilities – • Provide assistance and lead breakdown solutions on all machines across site • Ensure all food safety regulations and quality standards are met • Adhering to PPM schedules and to provide assistance with breakdowns • Proactively provide continuous improvement on machinery Requirements – • Previous electrical engineering experience within a food production environment • Knowledge of risks assessments and work safety awareness • Relevant degree or qualification within Electrical engineering

As a Meter Reader you will be working with TXM Recruit, one of the UK's top engineering resourcing firms, you will represent one of the UK's leading energy contractors, visiting customers at a variety of locations including homes and commercial properties. As a Meter Reader you will be required to carry out meter readings for both gas and electric meters at customer properties surrounding the designated area local to you. Completion of visual checks and accurate log of readings will need to be implemented into a hand-held device at each location. Working as a Meter Reader this is a customer-facing role working on a long-term contract. We are looking for highly self-motivated individuals who have the desire to achieve success. There is a great deal of flexibility with this role, as a Meter Reader you will plan your own route, manage your schedule and workload to achieve the targets set for the week by head office. Working as a Meter Reader will adhere to a flexible working pattern 37.5 hours a week between the hours of 8am - 8pm Mon – Fri and if working Saturday 8am – 6pm. Pay: Once you have completed the paid induction (consisting of training room and field based training) you will receive an hourly rate of £7.83 (PAYE) per hour, plus a mileage allowance of 35p per mile (door to door) along with an attractive bonus scheme. A well-established expanding food company are looking for experienced production operatives for a new weekend shift. Working Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm you will be working 24 hours per week but will be paid for 40 hours therefore the rate of pay is £13 per hour. Duties Include: • Operate process and packing machinery to directions following the standard operating procedures • Follow production plans and working instructions as per specifications • Fill in relevant paperwork correctly and in full • Ensure that Health, Safety and hygiene standards are met • Report any problems with process or machinery to the Team Leader Skills/Experience Required: • Previous manufacturing experience a must • Previous food production experience is a major plus • Flexible working attitude and ability to work in a team • Must have a good eye for details and coordination • Good standard of written and spoken English and sound numeracy skills • High hygiene standards This is a long term role
