Logistics Administrator - Are you a great communicator and able to build relationships with customers and suppliers even in hectic times? If so at P&O Ferrymasters, a pan-European leader in tailor-made transport, logistics and supply chain solutions, we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Logistics Administrator to join us on a six-month fixed term contract. You will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for delivering the highest quality of service. Your team is headed up by an Operations Manager and consists of Traffic Operators, Contract Administrators and Business Unit Operators. This is overseen by the General Manager. So, what is this job all about? As a Logistics Administrator you form a crucial part of the Customs team and will share the responsibility to deliver an ultimate customer experience by continuous contact with customers and suppliers, ensuring that service meets their expected criteria. You will co-ordinate Import and Export activities confirming to HM Revenue and Customs regulations following governing departments and organisations using the appropriate business systems were applicable. Other key responsibilities will include: Shipping overview Monitoring and recording all imports and exports Customer order acceptance linked with administrative duties Updating customer tariffs Archiving documentation Ad hoc projects As a Logistics Administrator, you possess excellent communication skills and are a strong team player. So, if you: Have good organisation skills, including ability to prioritise your workload Have a methodical approach to your work Are a self-starter with excellent organisational skills Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel This is a full-time, position working 40 hours per week, in return we are offering a competitive package in line with the seniority of the position.
