Our client based in Lincoln are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a temporary basis for initially 6 months but this is likely to be extended. The role is working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the option for overtime which is paid at a premium. This job involves:- Repairing complex C.N.C machine tools and processes, have an in depth knowledge of Mechanical procedures, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and basic electrical functions. Servicing, of all machine tools, processes, including cranes, fork lift trucks LEVs etc Installing of new machines that have been purchased by the company and moving and re-installation of any machines that require re location. Calibration of all machine tools and process equipment for SITL, to comply with works procedures. To be considered for the role you will need a HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or be a time served Mechanical Engineer. Site Operative Solutions Ltd. are looking for an Interim Maintenance Manager & Transition Asset Manager for our client, a leader in Offshore Wind. The manager is responsible for management of maintaining and finalising the snagging of the transmission assets (Including the onshore and offshore substations). This is for the period between completion of construction and until final divestment to third party (OFTO). TASKS: • Review all Contractors HSE documentation, schedules and reports • Closing any findings on reports • Ensuring reports are uploaded to the correct internal database in the highest quality. • Monthly reviews and management of all schedules, internal and external. • Monthly reviews and management of budgets. • Monthly liaise with OFTO technical manager for reports submitted and support technical management in the divestment process. RESPONSIBILITIES: • The Project Manager lead (Cost, time, quality, risk) of the preventative maintenance program of works ensuring that all transmission assets On and Offshore are retained within warranty until OFTO divestment. • Concurrently managing up to 8 service contracts over an 18 month to 2-year period. • Ensuring contractors get to work on the correct dates of preventative maintenance on all transmission assets by reviewing schedules, HSE documentation training requirements etc. • Management of service contracts for commercial queries, budgeting, forecasting and payment terms. • Managing a team of internal technicians doing reporting between the service contractors attending site. • Reviewing and QA of all reports undertaken by technicians and external contractors and being responsible for good quality of all reports for OFTO divestment. • Responsible for offshore logistics of sub-contractors. QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum 5 years professional experience and experience within Offshore Wind Farm Industry will be an advantage. • Min 3 years Project Management experience and 3+ years HV electrical equipment experience. • Strong knowledge on Contract and commercial management and service reporting due diligence. • Knowledge of offshore logistics and helicopter logistics
