Steel Fixtures Boston #180 per shift Working in live substation, work at height, moving plant etc. NO BESC TICKET REQUIRED For this role, you require a CSCS card and experience as a steel fixer The work involves preparing the foundations for a Substation extension, (Reinforced Concrete works within live substation) We require a team of 2 carpenters and 2 steel fixers (experienced and dedicated to solely steel fixing) - so gangs are welcome. All 4 must have previous experience working in their chosen field, ideally within substations - but substation experience is not essential in this instance. Note that hours are fixed, any operative who wishes to finish early on a Friday can arrange this with the Site Manager. They will be paid up until the time they leave. Operatives will be able to access from 8am, but we are not able to access site until 8:45am. There will be one 30 minute break at lunchtime.
