The role of the Payroll Assistant is to help in the production of the payroll for KSS CRC. Key Responsibilities * To assist in the production of the monthly payroll * Process starters and leavers * Make permanent and temporary changes i.e. Tax code, overtime claims and sickness * Carry out manual pre-calculations * Deal with Statutory Payments including Court Orders * Run reports * Deal with enquiries and requests for information from staff and external bodies such as the DWP and mortgage/letting references. * Undertake other duties that may be required from time to time and which are commensurate with the level and nature of the post. I require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on a part time basis for two days a week from their head office in Maidstone, Kent. My client works on the installation of Electrical and BMS systems into small and large scale projects throughout London/South East. As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for commercial aspects, from Tender enquiries through to final account negotiation with our clients. Your duties will also include cost monitoring, variation and subcontract contract management. Overview / Responsibilities: • Plan, organise and manage the activities associated with the surveying of projects • Analyse, identify and have knowledge of the conditions of contract, ensuring compliance and obligations are met by the project team. • Maintain all contract commercial files required for substantiation of accounts utilising company’s documentation management system, workspace. • Issue sub-contract orders and take responsibility for ensuring that all commercial and contractual aspects are satisfactorily considered and implemented • To provide detailed financial reporting in accordance with company procedures. • Provide detailed financial information on all financial aspects of a contract as required by our internal team. • Familiarity with and carry out the duties of contract administration with relation to standard forms of contract i.e. NEC3, JCT etc • Review current commercial processes and provide ongoing development to ensure best practice. • To provide detailed financial reporting in accordance with company procedures. • Identify any variations/risks to contracted works. Your main job will be to ensure that all products are inspected and assessed. You'll also insure that intake reports are completed accurately, manage non-compliance procedures and investigate any returns. You: You'll have technical understanding and experience of working in the fresh produce industry, ideally in soft or stone fruit.
