About the role: The Compliance Manager is accountable for driving improvements to achieve regional service and compliance targets, through the robust analysis of Courier performance on speed of service and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival). This team helps vulnerable people at risk of becoming homeless by liaising with Landlords, Families, and other agnecies to find resolutions and solutions. We are looking for an experienced Design CAD Technician to work on designs of Smoke Control and Fire Detection Systems. This will cover all areas from initial concept through to final delivery of designs, and supporting the projects teams through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance and the issue of O&M manuals. The role requires ability to self-manage workloads and prioritise customer demands whilst working on multiple projects. Good organisational skills are essential along with clear & concise communication skills in both oral and written areas. The candidate should be a team player and be prepared to support the numerous stakeholders to the best of their ability.  Help develop system designs from customer specifications and fire strategies. Write up designs into Design Specifications. Transpose system designs into CAD drawings Assist with development of designs in accordance with standards and codes of practice Uploading of drawings to 3rd party hosting sites Maintain up to date information for team work schedule Respond to customer design enquiries Attend new works handover meetings with Estimating and Projects Attend external customer design meetings Complete relevant parts of O&M manuals  Requirements Knowledge of mechanical & natural smoke control systems, car park smoke clearance systems and fire detection systems Knowledge or understanding of controls theory for fire alarm systems and building services FIA Level 3 Fire Detection and Alarm Advanced Designer Understanding of electrical designs Able to use AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit, NavisWorks Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner Proficiency in Windows 10 environment and Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
