Excellent opportunities await a recent Masters, PhD graduate or experienced protein analyst seeking to join a leading biopharmaceutical research laboratory!
Working as part of an active team of R&D scientists you will utilise your skills on a wide range of biophysical and physicochemical techniques to characterise biotherapeutic proteins. Techniques include chromatography (HPLC, UPLC and AKTA), electrophoresis (gel and capillary), spectroscopy (circular dichroism, FTIR, fluorescence), DSC and activity assays (SPR and ELISA). You will be expected to play an integral role within the team of research scientists by participating in method development, equipment troubleshooting, contributing to authorship of regulatory submissions, technical procedures and reports as well as group meetings and presentations.
The laboratory contains state-of-the-art equipment and is a highly regarded industry organisation, providing a fantastic opportunity to either start/continue a research career in industry.
Applicants are invited from graduate and experienced scientists with hands on experience in protein analysis using several of the following techniques;
* HPLC, UPLC, AKTA
* Gel and capillary electrophoresis (e.g. GCE, CIEF)
* Circular dichroism (CD)
