Our client a leading utilities contractor currently have multiple positions available for Works Coordinator/Schedulers and NRSWA Street works coordinators to join a successful team working out of their offices in the Reading area. This will be starting on a 6-month contract with a view that it may become more long term with a salary dependant on experience. You will be working Monday to Friday (7:30am to 4:00pm) however depending on the role you may work on a shift rotation basis. Shift rotation(Monday to Friday) 06:00 - 14:30 07:30 - 16:00 09:30 - 18:00 13:30 - 22:00 The ideal candidate will have experience as a Street works coordinator/Planner in utilities however we would consider strong administration experience too. The purpose of the roles is to ensure that all works are assigned to teams. This involves ensuring that all resources, traffic notices/permits, and communications are allocated efficiently. A key component of the role is to act as an area focal point and take ownership for all aspects of operational delivery. This involves completing pre-history checks, submitting permits and ensuring work is sent to field teams. Responsibilities ·Allocation of all works to repair teams. ·Ensure all resources are utilised effectively, maximising output while minimising cost ·Complete pre-history checks to understand related or duplicated work and ensure Be the focal point for the allocation of work within geographic area and re-allocate resources where the situation arises ·Submit permits and traffic management. ·Escalate issues to Team Manager to enable appropriate resolution and minimise customer impact. ·Select the correct resources to carry out the work, aligning skills to the specific job requirements ·Ensure field teams have all required information to complete work on first visit. ·Communicate with repair teams If interested, please do apply with your up to date CV and if successful we will be in touch. Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting Bendi FLT operators to work with our client in the town of Reading. This client is a leading supplier in the technology sector, and have seen a massive upsurge in terms of demand in recent months. In order to cope with this, they are looking to take on an additional Bendi forklift operator to work in their warehouse. The following pay rates are on offer for this role: * £9.25 per hour basic rate. * £10 per hour overtime rate. These rates are paid on a PAYE model, inclusive of advanced holiday pay. The typical duties of this role will include using a Bendi forklift in order to load and unload the company’s goods to and from their vehicles, as well as to organise stock in and around the warehouse. Workers may also be required to aid with general picking and packing duties around the warehouse. The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday, on either a 8:00 – 16:00 or 10:00 – 18:00 shift pattern. Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for an experienced van driver to work with our client in Reading. This client is a leading supplier to the audio industry. They currently require a 3.5t van driver to work with them on an ongoing basis. The general duties of this role will involve navigating to a variety local areas, in order to make deliveries of the client’s goods. These locations may be anywhere in the RG postcode, as well as the surrounding counties, and as such this role will involve a lot of driving. The pay rates on offer are as follows: * £9.25 per hour basic rate. * £10.00 per hour overtime & Saturday rate. * £11.50 per hour Sunday & Bank Holiday rate. These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay. This is a Monday to Friday position, and the hours are 8:00 - 16:00, with overtime rates paid after 8 hours worked.
