If you’re part of our Rapid Response Team, you’ll be there when things get interesting! You'll be responsible to keep the airports open when the beast from the east returns. This is on-call work only and should not be considered a primary source of income. This type of work is best suited to self-employed candidates or people who have similar flexible working arrangements. Responsibilities As a Winter Resilience Runway Sweeper, your duties may include but are not limited to: • Operating Glasgow’s prime mover vehicles to sweep the runway of snow Person Specification • Must be hardworking & reliable with an excellent work ethic • Be flexible with working hours (able to work days, nights & weekends) • Be able to attend shifts at very short notice (minimum 4-hours) • Live within a 45-minute commute of Glasgow Airport • Have no criminal convictions • Have a Full UK Driving Licence with Categories C+E Requirements Due to the location of work being at the airport, we need the following information from you: • 5-year checkable history (employment, self-employment, education or benefit claim) • 5-year UK address history • Valid photo ID (Driving licence accepted for British citizens) Working Hours This is ad-hoc emergency work. Your hours will vary and you must be flexible enough to work days, nights, weekdays and weekends. Working Health & Safety • You will be required to complete a Security exam and therefore need to display you understand Health & Safety practices, therefore you will need to demonstrate you have a good understanding and communicate clearly in both written and verbal English • There is an element of manual handling of materials including pushing and pulling of equipment. You will need to be physically fit and able to carry out this role; the Airport is a large environment and you will often be required to walk long distances between work stations Pay Rates (Inclusive of holiday pay) Shift Rate £17.50ph (Minimum 8hrs paid per shift) Shift bonus* £5ph Annual Commitment Bonus* £100 * To be paid on 3rd May 2019 subject to on-going commitment Benefits Potential to gain full 5-year Airside Pass (Whilst you are working with JBS) An annual attendance bonus Free training The opportunity to earn good rates of pay when you are snowed off from your usual role

The Role You Will: Perform inspections and testing in accordance with the Project ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) and project Specification(s) Ensure overall end to end compliance with Project Specification(s) and Client requirements Recording of ambient conditions to ensure they are acceptable Ensure that material is stored and handled in accordance with manufacturer's requirements and data sheets are available, when required, material traceability is maintained and correct material used. Monitor performance of painting/blasting personnel, ensure Applicators are carrying out their works to the contract requirements and where required ensure that, equipment is in serviceable condition. Ensure inspection and test equipment is serviceable, with in calibration period and personnel are knowledgeable in its use. Ensure blast medium and coating materials conform to project specifications. Ensure surface preparation blast profile/cleanliness meet requirements, Monitor dry film thickness and re-coating intervals. Ensure any identification marks or tags removed or over coated are replaced. Prepare daily reports on the work in progress. Carry out any other duties as and when required Responsible for timely inspection during painting works, proactive in the prevention of noncompliance and problem resolution. About the role: - To provide a complete Project Planning service for nominated project. - As required, in association with the Project Director and/or Proposals Function, develop a level 2 Project Programme for tenders - In association with the Project Control Manager, prepare a planning strategy and then develop a database for the Project Execution Plan  - Develop project specific level 2 and level 3 programmes that clearly identify the project processes and linking of activities as required for multi-functional project team interfaces - Assign ownership for all project deliverables and obtain sign on to the level 2 programme by the Project Team. - Assign resources requirements for the execution of each phase of the project in accordance with the project specific budget. - Review all appropriate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site construction level 3 project programmes and review and prepare variance reports for the Project Control Manager and or Project Director’s attention for any variance from agreed level 2 programme.  - As required by the Project Control Manager, attend and record for planning update purposes all internal and external project progress reviews. - Issue project programme update reports in accordance with the requirements of the Project Control Manager and the Project Execution Plan.
