A fantastic opportunity has arisen for SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers in an outstanding and modern Special Needs school and residential home in Telford. This beautiful school has been rated “Outstanding” by OFSTED and has fantastic facilities for the students and staff including gardens, a soft play room and cinema room. The school is for young adults aged 8 – 19 who have various abilities, from autism and moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs. The post requires talented SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting young adults with educational needs. The team are welcoming, friendly and dedicated to the school and students. To work in this setting you MUST; *Have experience working in a care setting *Be comfortable providing personal care *Have experience working in special needs settings *Able to be flexible with shifts. There is the prospect of longer days during school holidays as well as waking night shifts. The role will include working 1:1 with students and supporting them during their day before and after classes. This will include waking them and putting them to bed and supervising meal times . You will be part of a great team and able to chaperone on some great days out with the students. A Local Authority in Shropshire is looking for a Principal Planner and Senior Planner to join the Council's Development Management Team. The team require a Principal Planner to take on the larger major projects, primarily large residential and industrial schemes, as it is a growth area so there is a lot of large scale development. The Senior Planner will also have the opportunity to work on some large schemes but also work on some minor applications. The Local Authority requires candidates who can hit the ground running. The Principal Planner will need to be confident working on large development projects with no supervision. They will have an opportunity to work on controversial planning applications and appeal cases, covering all types of development issues and be confident in communicating across other departments and with developers and partners of the Council. The Council can offer some home working arrangements or a compressed week. The contract is three months rolling while the Council seek to recruit permanently. The Senior Planner will need to be able to process minor and householder applications such as small scale residential applications and commercial applications such as change of use and shop fronts. The applications will be a mixture of urban and some rural. The will also have the opportunity to assist on some major schemes. The successful candidate should possess excellent customer care and negotiation skills. There is the opportunity for some home working but mainly office presence is required. The contract is a 9 month maternity cover. The Council are looking for candidates as sooner as possible and the role is Inside IR35 but rates are negotiable. Job Title: Service and Repair Engineers (Evening, Weekends and Out of hours) Job Details: We are recruiting for Out of Hours Service and Repair Engineers to prodominately work evenings and weekends in the Shropshire area. We are looking for candidates who live or are very close to the TF postcode area. You will be undertaking repair work as required on a call out basis. You may be required to done some servicing work. You must be an experienced gas Breakdown Engineer holding you own gas safe registration and ACS (CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CPA1 and ideally CKR1 and HTR1). You will need a minimum public liability cover of £2,000,000. Before starting you will need to obtain a Waste Carriers Licence if you do not already have one. You must have your own plain panelled van and business insurance as well as your own tools to include a fram ladder however you will be provided with repair stock kit as well as a socket and see, volt sticks, flue gas analyser and multi-metre if your own is not suitable. You will receive £45.00 per completed breakdown or £30.00 for a linked breakdown. On average you will do between 6 and 8 reapirs a day and more work is able to be generated.
