Software Developer | South Wales | £500 - £580pd People Source Consulting are currently seeking and Experienced Software Developer to work on a high profile Legacy Project for our South Wales based client. This is a 12 month contract position, falling Outside of IR35 Legislation and with a day rate of £500 - £580 (Depending on skills and background relevance). The requirement for a Software developer to carry out the Removal of legacy features from our client’s current online platform. Once complete, there is a further change / amendment pipeline work that require the same expertise as prioritised by Senior Service Management. Skills and experience Required: • Evidence (minimum 3 years) of Application stack knowledge – with experience in Java 1.4, EJB, JDBC, XML, WSDL, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Struts, Weblogic Application Server, Weblogic Workshop, Oracle, SQL • Evidence of (minimum 3 years) having a proven ability to understand and assess business and operational requirements, architectural goals and constraints • Evidence of (minimum 3 years) having excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical delivery matters simply and clearly too non-technical colleagues. • Evidence of working within an Agile squad and being a team player in a technology based business environment. As mentioned previously, this is a full time contract role at a day rate of £500 - £580 (Outside of IR35). It will require consultants to be on site 5 days a week in South Wales, so please consider travel or accommodation arrangements prior to making an application.
