Production Manager / Production Shift Manager We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager / Production Shift Manager for an exciting new opportunity based in the Redditch area of the West Midlands. The successful candidate will: Supervise the Production team members to ensure that all responsibilities are met in a timely manner. Liaise with all customers as required to effectively communicate any issues affecting ability to supply. Supervise the adherence to basic plant standards in production. Supervise the application of the plant escalation procedure. Supervise the attendance and conduct of Production employees, applying the company disciplinary procedure as and when required. Support and lead the utilisation of an effective Practical Problem Solving approach to all issues. Responsible for cross shift communication and log Utilise standard reporting tools to communicate key performance indicators. Conduct Performance Reviews for team members in conjunction with Departmental Managers as required. Support the development and training of all team members in relation to the Performance reviews conducted by Departmental Managers. Support the implementation and ongoing application of procedures and processes instigated by Departmental Managers. Ensure TS16949 is maintained as appropriate. Continually consider and propose, where appropriate, new methods of implementing and controlling standards to continuously improve the performance of the company. Work as an effective Supervisory team member to drive the achievement of the Core Values and Strategic Objectives of the plant. Ensure that SOX requirements are supported as appropriate Drive the adherence of best in class standards in Health & Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Production efficiency and Housekeeping Applications to this role are welcomed from Production Managers, Production Shift Managers and Production Area Managers, who possess direct OEM customer contact experience, excellent communication and leadership skills who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar managerial role, within an automotive just in time manufacturing and supply chain environment A good understanding of automotive manufacturing process, quality procedures and documentation is essential, as is previous supervisory or management experience. We are specialist service providers to the vehicle manufacturing industry and their supply chains and this is an excellent opportunity to join our team. To undertake duties associated with the payment of salaries and wages and the processing of suppliers orders and invoices. To assist the Payroll Team Leader and Senior Payroll Officer in the processing of all monthly and fortnightly payrolls. To deal with queries from staff and suppliers regarding the payment of salaries, wages and creditors and to liaise with directorates and external organisations on related matters. To deal with enquires from the Inland Revenue and the Department of Works & Pensions. To input mileage claims and other expenses claims submitted by claimants. To ensure that key dates relative to all payroll and creditor payments and are adhered to. For this position you will have to pass an onsite driving assessment prior to being sent out. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large multinational haulage company, offering a very consistent position with start times between (Apply online only) working through 10-12 hours a day from Sunday to Thursday, which can include 1-2 collections from regional distribution centres in England.
